The Low Safety Step Range is highly maneuverable on four spring loaded 75mm rubber tyre castors, which retract when the unit is stepped on. The steps and platform have full height handrails all round. | This range of High Steps are our most popular with the top tread heights covering most applications. The steps have a robust fully welded mild steel square tube framework, with tubular handles all round and to increase the stability that the 762mm wide treads give to the steps, we slope out the side and end frames from the platform. If the steps are being used in a narrow aisle, we can manufacture steps that meet that requirement. The steps fold to allow entry in to areas with low doors and for ease of transport. It is a simple operation to erect the Steps, with full instructions attached to the framework. The steps move easily on 200mm nylon centre, rubber tyre wheels at the high end and 100mm swivel castors mounted in a footlock at the low end. As an optional extra, a Side Lever Lock can be fitted in place of the footlock, with no extra charge. | The Medium Step moves easily on the 200mm rubber wheels at the high end, a 100mm castor is mounted in a footlock brake at the low end. The framework is designed to provide stability when in use and the full handrail gives a feeling of security, when climbing or standing on the step. | The two tread Light Step has a steadying post, whilst the three and four tread models have full handrails. The steps are easy to move around on the four spring loaded casters which retract into steel cups when the unit is stepped on. The steel cups protect office furniture and shelving from damage by the castors, when moving the steps around. |
